Welcome to Dockside Kennels, we're Sean & Sherree Barbey from LaRue Ohio. Training dogs has always been a passion of ours, we also enjoy teaching and watching handlers improve their skills.
As of 2008 we took over the Hunters Marsh Retrievers Challenge that was run by dear friend Kim Moses, it was Kim's wish for us to one day take over the Challenge. We summer in Harrisville, Michigan at our summer home, a photo of the technical pond is shown above. The technical pond was dug in 2007 and was designed by Sherree Barbey. As you can see it offers many concepts for dogs of all skill levels.

At Dockside Kennels, we also offer complete dog training services. Anything from obdience, force fetch, swim by to handling drills are all done here. Sean & Sherree both enjoy watching a dog and handler come together as a team and will teach and train both. Yes, we'll show you how to handle your dog!
